I mentioned in last month's LFTM post that I've been reading John Flanagan's books. If you haven't heard of him, what are you doing? Get a life. (I'm kidding.) John Flanagan is an Australian author (*cough like me cough*) most famous for his series Ranger's Apprentice and Brotherband . If you haven't read them yet, go read them. If you have read them, Halt is the best and you won't change my mind. For today's post, it's a new format. Love triangles are pretty much a staple in YA fiction. And romance. And almost every other genre. It's become so popular that it stinks. To find a bearable love triangle is rare. To find an exciting love triangle is a gem. I heard Jane Austen's love triangles were brilliant. Skeptical, I decided to give it a try. So far, I've read Pride and Prejudice , Emma and Sense and Sensibility . Boy was I impressed. (Okay, yes. This was also the first time I've read Jane Austen . It's embarrassing to join the fandom so late, but at least I've joined, right? :p) 1. Give your characters personalities. Hey authors! It's another Fifth Week Update . Enough with the introduction, let's get straight into what's up the past three months. Milestones Finally, finally, finally. I think I've hit my stride with the posts. It's easier to just start writing and to keep writing. I've become one with the flow, my dudes. Once again, I've changed my pin design. I'm still trying to find one that fits but I'm getting there. The magic of ENCANTO | Movie Review

Disney's Encanto is easily the best movie I've watched in 2021. It is truly "fantastical and magical". Everything about it bursts with hope and life, something we all need in light of hot summers and Covid. Even though it's technically not a Christmas movie, it's one of my favourite Christmas presents from the internet. Especially because it was released one day before Christmas, and we all know those early presents are the best. It's like cheating the system, but legally. Encanto is one of my most anticipated movie releases of 2021, along with Marvel's Black Widow and Spielberg's West Side Story . Where Marvel failed to win me heart and body, and where I failed to watch Romeo and Juliet but with guns in time for New Year, Encanto will be with me forever. *cue Titanic theme* Let's get to! 5th Week Update

Hey, authors! Welcome to the first 5th Week Update of 2021! It's been a solid four months. Life happened and writing posts became difficult. But I made it through! So let's get to!
